Qatar Airways announced Airbus A350-900 Qsuites for Adelaide

Qatar Airways has just announced that they will upgrade Adelaide route with their latest Business Class product which is called Qsuites. They will operate their Airbus A350-900 with Qsuites on-board instead of their older business product on the A350-900. The Qsuites service will start on August 16th. Qatar Airways also operated advertise Airbus A350-900 with Qsuites on-board flight to Adelaide a couple weeks ago. It is an exciting announcement for Adelaide Aviation enthusiasts because we can see more latest Qatar A350 registration block to Adelaide.

Adelaide is the fourth cities receive Qatar Airways Qsuites product and Adelaide will be the only city in Australia receive Qatar Qsuites on-board the A350-900. Qatar Airways will also drop their A380 service into Boeing 777-300ER with Qsuites on-board on Perth route.

Malindo Air announced Adelaide as its fourth destination in Australia 

Malindo Air will add Adelaide as its fourth destination in Australia when they begin their flight to Adelaide from the middle of April this year. The airlines will operate 4 flights per week as part of a Kuala Lumpur (KUL) - Denpasar (DPS) - Adelaide (ADL) with the mix of Boeing 737-800s/900s. The inaugural is set for midnight April 16th, 2019 from Denpasar, Bali and early morning April 17th in Adelaide.

Volga-Dnepr Airlines Antonov An-124 RA-82046 made another visit to Adelaide

Volga-Dnepr Airlines Antonov An-124  arrived into Adelaide from Darwin, Australia at 1649ACDT RWY23 as 'VI1778'. The aircraft is still parked near the long-term car park at Adelaide Airport. The aircraft is scheduled to depart on Thursday 21st to Senai International Airport in Australia. This also marked Volga-Dnepr Airlines Antonov An-124 RA-82046 third ever visit Adelaide, the last visit of Volga-Dnepr Airlines Antonov An-124  was back in 2010. The Antonov An-124 will come again once the RA-82046 leaves Adelaide in a couple of weeks

This event has attracted lots of aviation enthusiasts' attention, the spotting location was packed with lots of people waiting for the Antonov which is a rare movement in Adelaide. I will keep you guys updated.

Qatar Airways Airbus A350-941 A7-AMG with Qsuites on-board (1st Visit)

Qatar Airways Airbus A350-941 A7-AMG  arrived into Adelaide from Doha, Qatar at 1711ACDT RWY23 as 'QR914'. The aircraft then departed back to Doha, Qatar at 2150ACDT RWY23 as 'QR915'. This marked as A7-AMG first ever visit Adelaide as well as Australia. This also marked as A7-AM* block first ever visit Adelaide and this also be the first Qatar Airways Airbus A350-900 configured with Qsuites on-board to Adelaide as well as Australia. 

The airline also planned that they will operate their Qsuites product on Airbus A350-900 to Adelaide permanently from August but subject to change. Qatar Airways Airbus A350-1000 with Qsuites on-board will also operate as QR906 and 907 on Canberra via Sydney route this October.

Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-941 9V-SHD (1st Visit)

Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-941 9V-SHD arrived from Singapore 0848ACDT RWY23 as 'SQ279'. The aircraft then departed back to Singapore at 1035ACDT RWY23 as 'SQ278'. This marked as 9V-SHD first ever visit to Adelaide as well as Australia. The aircraft delivered to Singapore Airlines on the 2nd of March 2019.

Air New Zealand Boeing 787-9 ZK-NZE (All Black) made another visit to Adelaide

Air New Zealand Boeing 787-9 ZK-NZE (All Black) arrived Adelaide from Auckland at 1047ACDT as NZ191 and departed back to Auckland at 1222ACDT as NZ192. This was just a one-off flight due to the RR Trent 1000 engine problem so they used Boeing 777-200ER instead of the 787-9 but Air New Zealand Boeing 787-9 will come back to Adelaide next year.
