Emirates Boeing 777-36N(ER) A6-ECC "Expo 2020 (Mobility/Blue) Livery" made another visit to Adelaide and replace usual Boeing 777-200LR

Emirates Boeing 777-36N(ER) A6-ECC arrived in Adelaide from Dubai (DXB) at 1950ACST as EK440. After resting in Adelaide for 2 hours, the aircraft departed back to Dubai Intl (DXB) at 2150ACST Runway 23 as EK441. This marked as A6-ECC second ever visit Adelaide with Expo 2020 Blue livery as well as the third time ever Emirates Boeing 777s with Expo Livery visit Adelaide. A6-ECC repainted in Expo 2020 Blue livery in September 2018. The last Emirates Boeing 777-300ER visit with Expo 2020 livery was back in January 2019 when A6-ECC made first ever visit with Expo 2020 Blue livery.

Emirates used to operate daily Adelaide Service with their Boeing 777-300ER but due to low demand and they are unable to continue operating with Boeing 777-300eR so they downgraded into the smaller version of Boeing 777-300ER which is the Boeing 777-200LR.

Luckily today, due to high demand of passenger going to Europe during the winter season in Australia so Emirates has upgraded today's flight, yesterday, 28/06/2019's and Wednesday's flight from their -200LR version to their -300ER version. Today is the last day of 3 particular days that Emirates have chosen to upgrade from -200LR version to -300ER version. Hopefully, Emirates will upgrade more flight with Boeing 777-300ER in the future.

Qantas Boeing 747-438 (ER) VH-OEG Rockhampton charter flight

Qantas Boeing 747-438 (ER) made a rare visit today in Adelaide. It has been 5 years since Qantas Boeing 747-400 last visit Adelaide back in 2015 while it was on the Antartica charter flight. Qantas Boeing 747-438 (ER) VH-OEG arrived in Adelaide from Rockhampton (ROK) at 1019ACST as 'QF6163' to carry some troops to Rockhampton for some kind of military exercises. The aircraft then departed back to Rockhampton (ROK) 2 hours later 1223ACST as 'QF1375'. This probably is the best movement in Adelaide in 2019.

There will be another Qantas 747 visit in November for Antartica charter flight as well as the last Qantas 747 visit Adelaide when all of Qantas 747 fleet will be retired by this year.
