Airwork Boeing 737-36E(BDSF) ZK-FXJ Adelaide Diversion (1st visit)

Airwork Boeing 737-36E(BDSF) ZK-FXJ operating Virgin Australia's freighter flight from Melbourne Tullamarine Int'l (MEL/YMML) to Perth Int'l (PER/YPPH) diverted to Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) due to technical issue with the aircraft.

The airraft arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Melbourne Tullamarine Int'l (MEL/YMML) at 0611ACDT as 'VA9563'. After inspections, the aircraft continue its journey to Perth Int'l (PER/YPPH) at 0936ACDT as the same callsign 'VA9563'. This marked as Airwork Boeing 737-36E(BDSF) first visit to Adelaide.

Maskargo Airbus A330-223F 9M-MUD 'MH6204/6404'

Maskargo Airbus A330-223F 9M-MUD arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL) from Sydney Kingsford Smith Int'l (SYD) on 26/11 at 2135ACDT as 'MH6204'. After unloaded and uploaded the cargos, the aircraft then departed back to its homebased in Kuala Lumpur Int'l (KUL) on the next morning on 27/11 at 1302ACDT as 'MH6404'. Second Airbus A330Freighter to visit Adelaide this month.

Qantas Boeing 747-438(ER) VH-OEH Antartica Charter 'QF2905' 

On 23th November, Qantas Boeing 747-438(ER) VH-OEH did a domestic run between Sydney and Adelaide as preparation for its Antartica Charter flight the next day from Adelaide. The aircraft arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Sydney Kingsford Smith Int'l (SYD/YSSY) at 2034ACDT as 'QF743'. The aircraft stayed in Adelaide for the night and departed to Antartica next morning.

On 24th November, the aircraft departed Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) for a 10hours+ flight  sightseeing flight over Antartica at 2100ACDT as 'QF2905'. The aircraft arrived back to Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) at 2100ACDT after a long flight about 12hours 27minutes. The aircraft stayed in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) overnight before returning to Sydney Kingsford (SYD/YSSY) next morning.

On 25th November, after 3 days operating flights in and out Adelaide, the aircraft departed back to Sydney Kingsford Int'l (SYD/YSSY) at 1307ACDT as 'QF736'.

This could be the last time Qantas Boeing 747 ever coming to Adelaide as this flagship will be retired by the end of next year. It's very sad to see this flagship fading out of Qantas's fleet but looking forward to see more next generation aircraft here in Adelaide in the future

Platinum Aircraft Charter Beechcraft B200 Super KingAir VH-XBZ (ex. LN-LTF) (1st visit with new paint)

Platinum Aircraft Charter (Ex. Lufttransport) Beechcraft B200 Super KingAir VH-XBZ (ex.LN-LTF)  arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Melbourne Essendon Fields airport (MEB/YMEN) at 1758ACDT as 'VHXBZ' after a month of staying in Melbourne to repaint to Platinum Aircraft Charter's livery from its previous Lufttransport livery. 

This marked as VH-XBZ first visit to Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) with freshly new painted Platinum Aircraft Charter's livery.

QantasLink De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400 VH-OQS 'QF2080' Adelaide Diversion

QantasLink De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400 VH-OQS diverted to Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) when it was en-route from Melbourne Tullamarine Int'l (MEL/YMML) to Mildura airport (MQL/YMIA) as QF2080 due to bad weather in Mildura. The aircraft arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) at 1648ACDT as QF2080. The aircraft continued its journey to Mildura at 1732ACDT as same flight number.

It's been a while since the last time QantasLink Dash 8 Q400 coming to Adelaide. This also marked as first visit of the Dash 8 Q400 to Adelaide Int'l this year.

JetMagic Boeing 757-23A 9H-AVM ('U2' band charter) 'JMK410' 

 JetMagic Boeing 757-23A 9H-AVM arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Melbourne Int'l (MEL/YMML) on Tuesday 19NOV19 at 1450ACDT as 'JMK410'. The aircraft was chartered to carry U2 band for their concert in Adelaide and it stayed in Adelaide for a day before heading to Sydney Int'l (SYD/YSSY) for their next concert in Sydney on Wednesday 20NOV19 at 1524ACDT as same flight number 'JMK410'.

This marked the third times we have Boeing 757 visit to Adelaide this year. The last time was the RNZAF Boeing 757-2K2 NZ7571 visit Adelaide on 06NOV19.

Malindo Air Boeing 737-8GP 9M-LCP arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Denpasar Int'l (DPS/WADD) at 0726ACDT as OD173. The aircraft departed back to Denpasar Int'l (DPS/WADD) and onward to Kuala Lumpur Int'l (KUL/WMKK) at 0841ACDT as OD174. This marked as Malindo Air Boeing 737-8GP 9M-LCP first visit to Adelaide since the inaugural of Malindo Air in Adelaide.

Maskargo Airbus A330-223F 9M-MUB arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL) from Sydney Kingsford Smith Int'l (SYD) on 11/11 at 1853ACDT as 'MH6204'. NATO Strategic Airlife Capability (SAC Heavy Airlift Wing) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III 08-0001 arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Surat Thani Int'l, Thailand (URT/VTSB) on 08NOV19 at 2058ACDT as 'BRK93'. After staying in Adelaide for 2 days, the aircraft departed Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) to Surat Thani Int'l, Thailand (URT/VTSB) on 10NOV19 at 1035ACDT as the same flight number 'BRK93'.

This marked as NATO Strategic Airlife Capability (SAC Heavy Airlift Wing) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III 08-0001 first visit to Adelaide as well as first visit of Hungary's registration aircraft visit to Adelaide this year.

Alliance Airlines Fokker 70 VH-QQW (100th years England-Australia special livery) 'QQ561/562' (1st visit with special livery)

Alliance Airlines Fokker 70 VH-QQW with '100th years England-Australia' special livery arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Perth Int'l (PER/YPPH) on 07/11 at 1527ACDT as 'QQ561'. The aircraft stayed in Adelaide Int'l overnight before heading to RAAF Base Edinburgh (YPED) on 08/11 at 1008ACDT as 'QQ562' for display at the airshow on 9NOV19 and 10NOV19.

This marked Alliance Airlines Fokker 70 VH-QQW first visit to Adelaide with its new '100th years England-Australia' special livery.

Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) Boeing 757-2K2 NZ7571 arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from RNZAF Base Auckland (NZWP) at 1246ACDT as 'KIW974' for a quick fuel stop before heading to RAAF Base Pearce (YPEA) at 1415ACST as same flight number 'KIW974'.

This marked as Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) Boeing 757-2K2 NZ7571 first visit to Adelaide Int'l airport as well as first visit of Royal New Zealand Air Force aircraft visit to Adelaide airport this year.

On 05NOV19, Swiss Air Ambulance Bombardier Challenger 650 HB-JWC arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Kuala Lumpur Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Int'l (SZB/WMSA) at 1718ACDT after a flight time of 7hours and 8minutes as SAZ73 

After staying in Adelaide for 2 days 07NOV19, the aircraft departed back to Kuala Lumpur Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Int'l (SZB/WMSA) at 1638 ACDT as SAZ74. This marked as HB-JWC first ever visit Adelaide as well as second visit of Swiss Air Ambulance to Adelaide Int'l.

USAF Boeing C-40C (737-7DM(WL) BBJ) 09-0540 arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Darwin RAAF base / Darwin Int'l (DRW/YPDN) at around 2200ACDT on 03NOV19 as 'SPAR20'. The departed to Sydney 'Kingsford Smith' Int'l (SYD/YSSY) at around 1500ACDT on 04NOV19 as same flight number 'SPAR20'.

This marked as USAF Boeing C-40C (737-7DM(WL)BBJ) 09-0540 first visit to Adelaide as well as first USAF aircraft to visit Adelaide Int'l this year, 2019.

Air New Zealand Boeing 787-9 ZK-NZR arrived Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Auckland Int'l (AKL/NZAA) at 1035ACDT as NZ191 and departed back to Auckland Int'l (AKL/NZAA) at 1204ACDT as NZ192. ZK-NZR was delivered to Air New Zealand on the 23th of October 2019. This marked as ZK-NZR first ever visit Adelaide.
