Qantas Boeing 747-438(ER) VH-OJU 'QF1364/6164' Rockhamton Charter

Qantas Boeing 747-438 (ER) made a rare visit today in Adelaide. Qantas Boeing 747-438 (ER) VH-OJU arrived in Adelaide from Rockhampton (ROK) at 1640ACST as 'QF1364' to carry some troops back from Rockhampton. The aircraft then departed back to its based in Sydney, YSSY 2 hours later at 1845ACST as 'QF6164'. This was the third time Qantas Boeing 747 had visited Adelaide this year as well as second times this July and this probably is one of the best movement in Adelaide in July this year. The last Qantas 747 visits were back in 6th June and 28th July 2019.

There will be another Qantas 747 visit in November for Antartica charter flight as well as the last Qantas 747 visit Adelaide when all of Qantas 747 fleet will be retired by this year.

The aircraft then departed back to its based in Sydney, YSSY 1.5 hours later at 0834ACST as 'QF6164'. This was the second time Qantas Boeing 747 had visited Adelaide this year as well as first times this July and this probably is one of the best movement in Adelaide in July this year. The last Qantas 747 visit was back on the 6th June 2019

There will be another Qantas 747 visit in November for Antartica charter flight as well as the last Qantas 747 visit Adelaide when all of Qantas 747 fleet will be retired by this year.

Rex (Regional Express) Saab 340B VH-ZPA (Ex. Pen Air) (1st visit) 

Rex (Regional Express) Saab 340B VH-ZPA arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL) from Broken Hill airport (BHQ) at 0822ACST as ZL4817 and the aircraft will be operating regions around Adelaide for while. The aircraft delivered to Mesaba Airlines under registration N410XJ in 1997, then Pen Air in 2010 and delivered to Rex (Regional Express) then re-register the aircraft under Australian registration as VH-ZPA in November 2018. This marked as VH-ZPA first ever visit Adelaide since its delivery flight last year.

Antonov Design Bureau AN124-100M-150 UR-82009 left Adelaide and headed to Honolulu (HNL), Hawaii

After staying in Adelaide for around 9 days, Antonov Design Bureau AN124-100M-150 UR-82009 left Adelaide Int'l (ADL) and headed to Honolulu Int'l (HNL) in Hawaii at 1141ACST as ADB229F. The pilots also did a wingwave to planespotters when they were taking off. 

This event has attracted lots of Aviation Enthusias attention, the spotting location was packed with lots of people waiting for Antonov which is rare in Adelaide.

China Southern Airlines Airbus A330-223 B-6528 (Ex. Skyteam Livery) 1st visit with CZ's house livery

China Southern Airlines Airbus A330-223 B-6528 arrived in Adelaide Intl'l (ADL) from Guangzhou Int'l (CAN) at 0945ACST as CZ663 and departed back to GuangZhou Int'l at 1118ACST as CZ664. The aircraft delivered to China Southern Airlines in February 2011, it used to wear Skyteam Livery but and has repainted to China Souther Airlines's livery due to China Southern is leaving Skyteam so all of their Skyteam liveried aircraft are slowly repainted to their house colour. This also marked as B-6528 first visit Adelaide with its new China Southern Airlines's livery.

Fiji Airways Boeing 737-8X2 DQ-FJG operates last 'FJ961/960' flight

Fiji Airways Boeing 737-8X2 DQ-FJG landed Adelaide for the last time after 2 years of operation in Adelaide. Fiji Airways Boeing 737-8X2 DQ-FJG arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL) from Nadi Int'l (NAN) at 2147ACST (delayed 1h30m from its original schedule) as FJ961 and depart back to Nadi Int'l (NAN) at 2300ACST as FJ960. This is their last flight to Adelaide but they're still keeping their slots here so hopefully they will comeback soon.

Antonov Design Bureau AN124-100M-150 UR-82009 arrived in Adelaide once again

Antonov Design Bureau AN124-100M-150 UR-82009 arrived in Adelaide Intl airport (ADL) from Brisbane Intl airport (BNE) at 1625ACST as 'ADB2529'. The schedule departure time and date are soon to be announce, I recommend you guys to check Adelaide Airport social media page for more information about the departure time and date. The last time Antonov AN124 visit Adelaide was back in March when volga-Dnepr Airlines Antonov 124 RA-82046 made another visit Adelaide.

Qatar Airways Airbus A350-941 A7-AMF with Qsuites on-board (1st visit)

Qatar Airways Airbus A350-941 A7-AMF arrived into Adelaide from Doha, Qatar at 1616ACST RWY05 as 'QR914' and after passenger boarded the aircraft, the aircraft then departed back to Doha, Qatar (DOH) at 2215ACST RWY05 as 'QR915'.This marked as Qatar Airways A7-AMF first ever visit Adelaide as well as Australia. This also marked as 8th ever time Qatar Airways send their Airbus A350-900 configured which hasn't been to Adelaide before with Qsuites on-board to Adelaide as well as Australia. 

It seems like A7-AMF is the last AM* block first visit to Adelaide at the moment but more AM* block will be delivering to Qatar Airways soon and we're waititng for A7-ALY to make first visit anytime soon.

Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-941 9V-SHI (1st Visit)

Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-941 9V-SHI arrived from Singapore (SIN) at 0649ACST RWY05 as 'SQ279'. The aircraft then departed back to Singapore at 0904ACST RWY05 as 'SQ278'. 9V-SHI delivered to Singapore Airlines on the 29th June 2019 and this also marked as 9V-SHI first ever visit Adelaide.

Qatar Airways Airbus A350-941 A7-AMH with Qsuites on-board (1st visit)

Qatar Airways Airbus A350-941 A7-AMH arrived into Adelaide from Doha, Qatar at 1614ACST RWY23 as 'QR914' and after passenger boarded the aircraft, the aircraft then departed back to Doha, Qatar (DOH) at 2203ACST RWY23 as 'QR915'.This marked as Qatar Airways A7-AMH first ever visit Adelaide as well as Australia. This also marked as 7th ever time Qatar Airways send their Airbus A350-900 configured which hasn't been to Adelaide before with Qsuites on-board to Adelaide as well as Australia. 

It seems like Qatar Airways is starting operating Airbus A350-900 with Qsuites ob-board to Adelaide so we should see more AM* block in Adelaide.

Qantas Airbus A330-202 VH-EBF Adelaide Diversion

Qantas Airbus A330-202 VH-EBF diverted to Adelaide when it was en-route from Sydney (SYD) to Perth (PER) as QF583 for a fuel stop. The aircraft arrived in Adelaide at 1933ACST RWY05 as 'QF583'  and after refueling, the aircraft continued its journey to Perth departing at 2244ACST RWY05 using the same flight number (QF583). It's been a while since the last Qantas A330 diverted to Adelaide back in April 2018.

Qatar Airways Airbus A350-941 A7-AMK with Qsuites on-board (1st visit)

Qatar Airways Airbus A350-941 A7-AMK arrived into Adelaide from Doha, Qatar at 1555ACST RWY05 as 'QR914'. The aircraft then departed back to Doha, Qatar at 2220ACST RWY05 as 'QR915'.This marked as Qatar Airways A7-AMK first ever visit Adelaide as well as Australia. This also marked as fifth ever time Qatar Airways send their Airbus A350-900 configured which hasn's been to Adelaide before with Qsuites on-board to Adelaide as well as Australia. 

It seems like Qatar Airways is starting operating Airbus A350-900 with Qsuites ob-board to Adelaide so we should see more AM* block in Adelaide.

Malindo Air Boeing 737-8GP 9M-LCM OD173/174 (1st visit)

Malindo Air Boeing 737-8GP 9M-LCM arrived in Adelaide at 0607ACST on RWY05 as OD173 from Denpasar, Bali and then the aircraft departed back to Denpasar at 1134ACST RWY05 as OD174. The aircraft is 2.5 years old which delivered to Malindo Air back in March 2017. This marked as Malindo Air Boeing 737-8GP 9M-LCM first ever visit Adelaide since their inaugural flight.  

Since the inaugural flight, we've already got 9M-LCC, 9M-LCD 9M-LCG, 9M-LNV, 9M-LCH, 9M-LNZ, 9M-LNR, 9M-LNQ, 9M-LCJ, 9M-LNU, 9M-LNY, 9M-LNS, 9M-LNM, 9M-LCL and now 9M-LCM first visit and looking forward to seeing more Malindo Boeing 737-800 registration blocks to Adelaide in the future.

Malindo Air Boeing 737-8GP 9M-LCD Denpasar technical issue and operate delayed OD173 flight (1st time) 

Malindo Air Boeing 737-8GP 9M-LCD departed Kuala Lumpur Int'l airport (KUL) at 1955PM +08 and arrived in Denpasar, Bali (DPS) on 02/07/2019 at 2256WITA as OD173. The aircraft was supposed to continue to Adelaide as OD173 at 0010WITA  but due to a technical issue so the aircraft was unable to continue its journey to Adelaide as OD173. 

After 2 days staying in Denpasar for fixing, the aircraft then continued its journey to Adelaide at 1633WITA and arrived in Adelaide Intl airport (ADL) at 2234ACST on 04/07/2019 as OD173D. The aircraft had to stay overnight in Adelaide and left Adelaide at 0730ACST on 05/07/2019 as OD174D. It also the first time ever there were 2 Malindo Boeing 737 on Adelaide ground when usual OD173 flight which operated by 9M-LCM arrived in Adelaide from Denpasar on the 5th July.

The aircraft then departed back to Doha, Qatar at 2200ACST RWY05 as 'QR915'.This marked as Qatar Airways A7-AME first ever visit Adelaide as well as Australia. This also marked as fourth ever time Qatar Airways send their Airbus A350-900 configured which hasn't been to Adelaide before with Qsuites on-board to Adelaide as well as Australia. 

It seems like Qatar Airways is starting operating Airbus A350-900 with Qsuites ob-board to Adelaide so we should see more AM* block in Adelaide.

China Southern Airlines Airbus A330-223 B-6515 made another visit Adelaide replace usual Airbus A330-300 as CZ663/664

China Southern Airlines Airbus A330-223 B-6515 arrived in Adelaide from Guangzhou Intl Airport (CAN) at 0850ACST as CZ663. After resting in Adelaide for 2 hours, the aircraft departed back to Guangzhou Intl Airport (CAN) at 105ACST as CZ664.

It is really rare to have China Southern Airlines Airbus A330-200 here in Adelaide because from October last year, China Southern has upgraded from -200 to -300 so seeing a China Southern A330-200 here is really rare. The reason for downgrading from -300 series to -200 series today is unknown, but it seems due to the low demand of passenger to Adelaide.
