Farewell Singapore Airlines Airbus A330-343 at Adelaide airport over ten years service to Adelaide

Today marks as the last ever Singapore Airlines Airbus A330-343 flight to as flight SQ279/278 had been upgraded to Airbus A350-941 last December as well as seasonal SQ277/276 (afternoon flight) will also be upgraded to Airbus A350-941 from 03JAN20. This could be marked as the end era of Singapore Airlines Airbus A330-343 to Adelaide after more than 10 years service to Adelaide.

Singapore Airlines Airbus A330-343 9V-SSG was honored to operate today's last SQ Airbus A330 flight. The aircraft arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Singapore Changi Int'l (SIN/WSSS) at 1740ACDT as 'SQ277' after a flight time of 06hours21mins. The aircraft departed back to Singapore Changi Int'l (SIN/WSSS) at 1925ACDT as 'SQ276' for a flight time of 06hours38mins.

This will be the end era of Singapore Airlines Airbus A330-343 service to Adelaide but this will help Adelaide to open up a new era of next-generation aircraft in Adelaide.

Malindo Air Boeing 737-8GP 9M-LNY Adelaide Technical Issue

Malindo Air Boeing 737-8GP 9M-LNY arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) on Wednesday 25DEC19 from Denpasar, Bali Int'l (DPS/WADD) at 0744ACDT as 'OD173'. The aircraft was scheduled to operate the return flight to Denpasar Int'l then to Kuala Lumpur Int'l (KUL/WMKK) at 0840ACDT as 'OD174' but due to an engine issue with Malindo Air Boeing 737-8GP 9M-LNY so the aircraft couldn't depart until the problem is fixed. The aircraft then being towed to long-term carpark from its gate for fixing.

After more than one day staying in Adelaide for fixing, the aircraft has finally departed and bound for Denpasar Int'l (DPS/WADD) at 1545ACDT as 'OD174D'. 

Malindo Air Boeing 737-8GP 9M-LND 'OD173/174' (1st visit)

Malindo Air Boeing 737-8GP 9M-LND arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Denpasar Int'l (DPS/WADD) at 0732ACDT as OD173. The aircraft departed back to Denpasar Int'l (DPS/WADD) and onward to Kuala Lumpur Int'l (KUL/WMKK) at 0905ACDT as OD174. This marked as Malindo Air Boeing 737-8GP 9M-LND first visit to Adelaide since the inaugural of Malindo Air in Adelaide.

Antonov Design Bureau Antonov AN-124-100M UR-82008 'ADB2816/216F'

Antonov Design Bureau Antonov AN-124-100M UR-82008 arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Nadi Int'l (NAN/NFFN) at 0700ACDT after a flight time of 06hrs05m as 'ADB2816'. After staying in Adelaide for a day, the aircraft departed Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) and headed to Senai/Johor Haru Int'l, Malaysia (JHB/WMKJ) at 1057ACDT for a flight time of 07hrs15m as 'ADB216F'. This marked as third visit of Antonov 124 to Adelaide this year.

Qatar Airways Airbus A350-941 A7-AMK Adelaide technical issue and Qatar Airways Airbus A350-941 A7-AMI operates delayed QR915 flight for A7-AMK

19DEC19:

On 19/12/2019, Qatar Airways flight QR914 operated by Airbus A350-941 A7-AMK arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Doha Hamad Int'l (DOH/OTHH) at 1657ACDT as 'QR914'. The aircraft was scheduled to operate return flight back to Doha at 2150ACDT as QR915 but as there was an issue with its landing gear so the flight had to delay until the issue is fixed.

20DEC19:

Qatar Airways Airbus A350-941 A7-AMI arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Doha Hamad Int'l (DOH/OTHH) at 1655ACDT as 'QR914'. The aircraft was scheduled to operate flight QR915 back to Doha Hamad Int'l (DOH/OTHH) at 2150ACDT but as flight QR915 the day before had to delay as there was a technical issue occured on Qatar Airways Airbus A350-941 A7-AMK arrived in Adelaide on 19DEC19. So the aircraft had to make a quick turn around in order to replaced A7-AMK to operate delayed QR915 flight as well as A7-AMK will be operating usual QR915 flight for A7-AMI after it's fixed later in the night.

After staying in Adelaide for more than a day, Qatar Airways Airbus A350-941 A7-AMK departed back to Doha Hamad Int'l (DOH/OTHH) at 2231ACDT as 'QR915' which supposed to be operated as A7-AMI but as A7-AMI had already operated delayed QR915 flight for A7-AMK earlier so it had to this flight instead. This is very odd to have something like which is very rare in Adelaide.

Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-941 9V-SHL arrived in Adelaide Intl'l (ADL) from Singapore Changi Int'l airport (SIN/WSSS) at 0841ACDT as 'SQ279'. The aircraft then departed back to Singapore Changi Int'l (SIN/WSSS) at 1042ACDT as 'SQ278'. 

Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-941 9V-SHL delivered to Singapore Airlines on 07DEC19. This marked as 9V-SHL first visit to Adelaide.

Maskargo Airbus A330-223F 9M-MUD 'MH6204/6404'

Maskargo Airbus A330-223F 9M-MUD arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL) from Sydney Kingsford Smith Int'l (SYD) on 16/12 at 1825ACDT as 'MH6204'. After unloaded and uploaded the cargos, the aircraft then departed back to its homebased in Kuala Lumpur Int'l (KUL) the next day at 0846ACDT as 'MH6404'.

QantasLink De Havilland Canada Dash 8-300 (ex. Jetstar Airways) VH-TQK (1st visit)

QantasLink De Havilland Canada Dash 8-300 VH-TQK which previously operated by Jetstar Airways in New Zealand and it has been re-painted to QantasLink new livery. The aircraft arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Sydney Kingsford Smith Int'l (SYD/YSSY) at 09:18ACDT as 'QLK711'. The aircraft will be oprating in and out of Adelaide to all QantasLink's route in the regions around  South Australia for a while. This marked as QantasLink De Havilland Canada Dash 8-300 VH-TQK first visit to Adelaide.

Cargolux Boeing 747-4HAF(ER) LX-KCL 'CV7083/7904' (1st visit)

Cargolux Boeing 747-4HAF(ER) LX-KCL arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Ashgabat Int'l (ASB/UTAA) on 12/12 at 1754ACDT after a flight time of 12hours39minutes as 'CV7083'. After staying in Adelaide about 17hours, the aircraft departed to Hongkong Int'l (HKG/VHHH) the next day on 13/12 at 1037ACDT for a flight time of 8hours09minutes as 'CV7904'.

This marked as Cargolux Boeing 747-4HAF(ER) LX-KCL first visit to Adelaide airport as well as first visit of Boeing 747-400Freighter in Adelaide this year.

Skytraders Airbus A319-115(LR) VH-VHD arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Melbourne Int'l (MEL/YMML) at 0707ACDT as SND1 to transport an injured person from the Volcanic eruption. The aircraft departed to Hamilton airport (New Zealand) (HLZ/NZHN) at 08:09ACDT as 'SND1'. This marked as first visit of Skytraders jets in Adelaide for a while.

Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus KC-30A (A330MRTT) A39-007 'DRGN14' (1st visit)

Royal Australian Air Force Airbus KC-30A A39-007 arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Perth Int'l (PER/YPPH) at 1950ACDT as 'Dragon14'. After making a quick stop in Adelaide Int'l airport, the aircraft departed to RAAF Base Townsville/Townsville airport (TSV/YBTL) at 2019ACDT as 'Dragon14'.

This marked as Royal Australian Air Force Airbus KC-30A A39-007 first visit to Adelaide Int'l airport as A39-007 is configured with VIP interior and they didn't usually come to Adelaide Int'l.

Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-941 9V-SHK arrived in Adelaide Intl'l (ADL) from Singapore Changi Int'l airport (SIN) at 0828ACDT as 'SQ279'. The aircraft then departed back to Singapore Changi Int'l Airport at 1019ACDT as 'SQ278'. 

This marked as 9V-SHK first ever visit to Adelaide. This was also 9V-SHK's second revenue flight after Perth earlier the day before after being delivered to Singapore Airlines for about a week, 9V-SHK delivered to Singapore Airlines on 30NOV19.

Singapore Airlines Airbus A330-343 9V-SSE operates seasonal 'SQ277/276' Singapore-Adelaide

Singapore Airlines flights 'SQ277/276' are the seasonal afternoon flights between Singapore and Adelaide which usually operate in December. Today is the re-commence SQ277/276 service. Today service is operated by Singapore Airlines Airbus A330-343 9V-SSE, the aircraft arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Singapore Changi Int'l (SIN/WSSS) at 1748ACDT as 'SQ277' after a flight time of 6hrs45m. The aircraft deaprted back Singapore Changi Int'l (SIN/WSSS) at 1920ACDT as 'SQ276'.

This marked as first visit of Singapore Airlines Airbus A330-343 to Adelaide this year. Singapore Airlines Airbus A330-343 will operate in and out of Adelaide as SQ277/276 till the end of December. By January 2020, the SQ277/276 service will be upgrading to state-of-art Airbus A350-941.
