Virgin Australia Boeing 737-8FE VH-YIS with newly fitted Scimitar Winglets arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Melbourne Tullamarine Int'l (MEL/YMML) at 1251ACST as 'VA223'. The aircraft departed to Melbourne Tullmarine  Int'l (MEL/YMML) at 1356ACST as 'VA224'

This marked as Virgin Australia Boeing 737-8FE VH-YIS first visit to Adelaide with its newly fitted Scimitar Winglets.

Lion Air Airbus A330-941NEO PK-LEJ Australian Repatriation Flight (1st A330neo to Adelaide/1st visit)

Lion Air was chartered by Australian Government to transport stranded Australian back to Australia from India. The airline operated 2 flights to Adelaide from India with a stop over in Denpasar, Indonesia. This one was also the last flight out of two flights to arrive in Adelaide.

Lion Air Airbus A330-941Neo PK-LEJ arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD)  from Denpasar Int'l (DPS/WADD) at 0744ACST as 'JT2849' after a total flight time of 04hrs 12mins. The aircraft stayed in Adelaide for about 4 hours, the aircraft departed back to Denpasar Int'l (DPS/WADD) at 1126ACST as 'JT2849' for a flight time of 04hrs 46mins.

This marked as Lion Air Airbus A330-941NEO PK-LEJ first visit to Adelalaide as well as the very first visit of the Airbus A330NEO in Adelaide.
