Qantas Boeing 737-838 VH-XZC diverted to Adelaide from Canberra at 1706PM when it was en-route to Perth as QF717. The reason for the diversion was a planned operation. The aircraft then continued its journey to Perth at 1818PM as the same flight number as QF717
