Singapore Airlines Airbus A380-841 9V-SKG diverted to Adelaide due to strong wind and bad weather in Melbourne. The aircraft arrived in Adelaide at around 2146ACDT 'RWY23' as SQ217 and then continued its journey to Melbourne at 2325ACDT 'RWY23' as SQ217. This also marked as Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 first ever visit Adelaide and we haven't got any Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 diversion in the last couple of years, the other A380 diversion was Qantas, Emirates and Etihad.
