Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-941 9V-SHB Adelaide Technical Issue

Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-941 9V-SHB arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) on Tuesday morning (08/10/2019) at 0840ACDT from Singapore Changi Int'l (SIN/WSSS) as 'SQ279'. The aircraft was scheduled to depart Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) back to Singapore Changi Int'l (SIN/WSSS) at 1010ACDT as 'SQ278' but due to a technical issue with the aircraft so the aircraft failed to depart and had to stay in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) until the problem is solved. At around 1300ACDT on Tuesday 8th, the aircraft was then towed to taxiway Foxtrot 1 from the terminal for further inspections as well as solving the problems.

After staying in Adelaide for 24 hours, the ground crews towed the aircraft back to the terminal for refuelling and prepare for the flight back to its homebase in Singapore Changi Int'l (SIN/WSSS). The aircraft departed Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) for Singapore Changi Int'l (SIN/WSSS) at 1117ACDT as 'SQ9278' after 24 hours on-ground in Adelaide.

This marked as the first time ever we have 2 Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-900s parking side by side at the same time at Adelaide airport.
