Emirates Boeing 777-21H(LR) A6-EWD operating flight "EK440" from Dubai Int'l (DXB/OMDB) to Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) on 15FEB20 unfortunately the flight had to delay as the aircraft returned back to Dubai Int'l (DXB/OMDB) due to a technical issue. Emirates had sent a replacement aircraft to continue to Adelaide about 11 hours later. The return flight back to Dubai from Adelaide on the 15th also affected.
Replacement aircraft for delayed 'EK440' flight was operated by Emirates Boeing 777-21H(LR) A6-EWH. The aircraft departed Dubai Int'l (DXB/OMDB) at 1317 (Dubai local time) after a total delay time of 11hours and 17minutes and arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) the next morning at 0824ACDT as 'EK440'. The aircraft departed back to Dubai Int'l (DXB/OMDB) at 0956ACDT as 'EK441'.
Unfortunately flight EK441 operated by Emirates Boeing 777-21H(LR) A6-EWF which arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) at 2108ACDT on the 16th also had to delay for about 8hours due to crew rest issue as the pilot for this flight had flew the delayed EK441 flight back to Dubai earlier in the morning.
