Emirates Boeing 777-36N(ER) A6-ECD "Expo 2020 (Opportunity/Orange) Livery" made another visit to Adelaide and replace usual Boeing 777-200LR

Emirates Boeing 777-36N(ER) A6-ECD arrived in Adelaide from Dubai (DXB) at 1955ACST as EK440. After resting in Adelaide for 1h47mins, the aircraft departed back to Dubai Intl (DXB) at 2147ACST Runway 05 as EK441. This marked as A6-ECD second ever visit Adelaide with Expo 2020 Orange livery as well as the second time ever Emirates Boeing 777s with Expo Livery visit Adelaide.

Emirates used to operate daily Adelaide service with their Boeing 777-300ER but due to low demand and they are unable to continue operating with Boeing 777-300eR so they downgraded into the smaller version of Boeing 777-300ER which is the Boeing 777-200LR.

Luckily today, due to high demand of passenger going to Europe during the winter season in Australia so Emirates has upgraded today's flight and Wednesday, 26/06/2019's flight from their -200LR version to their -300ER version. Emirates will also upgrade one more flight, which will be on the 29th.
