Qantas Airbus A330-202 VH-EBC 'QF583' Adelaide Diversion

Qantas Airbus A330-202 VH-EBC diverted to Adelaide when it was en-route flight 'QF583' from Sydney (SYD) to Perth (PER) due to fog in Perth as well as technical issue. The aircraft arrived in Adelaide (ADL) during the curfew at 0128AM ACST RWY23 as QF583 but unfortunately, the aircraft was unable to continue its journey to Perth due technical issue as well as crew rest issue so the passengers were either stay in the aircraft or in the terminal to wait for their substitute flight to Perth. Qantas had sent one of their Airbus A330-202 to Adelaide from Melbourne (MEL) in the early morning in order to take passengers on-board VH-EBC continue their journey to Perth as QF583 instead of VH-EBC.

After the crew had enough rest, the aircraft positioned back to Sydney (SYD) at 1639ACST RWY23 as QF6199. It has been a while since we have 2 Qantas A330s on-ground at Adelaide airport at the same time in the morning.
