Thai Airways International Airbus A350-941 HS-THK diverted to Adelaide when it was en-routing flight 'TG461' service from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Int'l (BKK/VTBS) to Melbourne Tullamarine Int'l (MEL/YMML) due to bad weather in Melbourne. The aircraft was doing some holding patterns around Melbourne regions before they decided to divert to Adelaide.
The aircraft arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Int'l (BKK/VTBS) at 2126ACDT as 'TG461'. After a quick refuel at Adelaide, the aircraft continued its journey to Melbourne Tullamarine Int'l (MEL/YMML) at 2251ACDT using the same flight number as 'TG461'.
This marked as Thai Airways International Airbus A350-941 HS-THK first visit to Adelaide as well as the first Thai Airways International Airbus A350-941 ever in Adelaide.
