Qatar Airways Boeing 777-3DZ(ER) A7-BED arrived in Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) from Doha Hamad Int'l (DOH/OTHH) at 1612ACST as QR914 after a flight time of 13hours and 16minutes. The aircraft stayed in Adelaide for couple of hours before heading back to Doha Hamad Int'l (DOH/OTHH) at 2201ACST as QR915. This marked as Qatar Airways Boeing 777-3DZ(ER) A7-BED first visit to Adelaide as well as 13th time Qatar Airways Boeing 777-300ERs had ever visited Adelaide, the first visit of Qatar Boeing 777-300ER was A7-BEJ which diverted to Adelaide Int'l (ADL/YPAD) due to bad weather in Melbourne Tullamarine Int'l (MEL/YMML) back in April 2017.
This also 15th time Qatar Airways Boeing 777s had ever visited Adelaide, the other 2 QR 777s were the Boeing 777-2DZ(LR) which diverted to Adelaide for a fuel stop due to fuel shortage in Auckland back in September 2017. Looking forward to see more Qatar Airways Boeing 777-300ER registrations block to Adelaide in a couple of weeks before their Airbus A350-900 comeback to Adelaide in a couple weeks.
